There is a good news for Shahid Kapoor. The Bollywood star, who hasn’t been having a good time in 2010 with couple of his films like Chance Pe Dance and Paathshaala not doing well at the box-office, is said to have returned with a bang as his latest offering Badmash Company is being liked by audience and is drawing crowds to theatres.
The good opening of Badmaash Company is vital for Shahid because after couple of films of his did not do well at the box office, the Bollywood star has been written off by everyone including the media. Going by the way his films have performed in 2010, there was a general conception that Shahid has stopped attracting crowds to theatres.
Reports suggest that Badmash Company is drawing good crowds in multiplexes and youth, especially in big cities like Mumbai and Delhi are enjoying the film.
What has worked for the film is that if those, who have come out of the theatres after watching it have not said too many good words about the film, it has also not been criticized by the viewers.
The film has also got a positive response at the box office because it is the only release at the box office this week and has not faced much competition from any other big film.
Badmash Company has had about 60% collection at the box office, which despite being average is encouraging for Shahid and the makers of the film because the collections of the film haven’t fallen over the weekend.
Badmash Company taking a good opening would have made everyone including Shahid very happy but will this good run for the film will continue in days to come is yet to be seen.
