I Hate Luv Storys gets good opening at the box office.

There is a good news for not only the cinema hall owners but also distributers and producers of Hindi films. After the average performance of Raavan, I Hate Luv Storys has got a good opening at the box office.

In times, when the performance of a film is judged by the collections it gets in the first three days of its release or in other words the first weekend, I Hate Luv Storys has not done badly. The Love Story, which talks of hating films made on the very same subject has managed to bring audiences to theatres and make a collection of around Rs. 22 crore in first three days of its release in India.

The film, which had made around Rs. 6 Crore on its opening day, was able to make around Rs. 16 crore in the remaining two days of the weekend.

The film brought a smile on the face of cinema hall owners, who say that 70 to 80 percent of the seats in all the shows have been sold all through the weekend.

As expected the chemistry of Sonam and Imran has struck the right cord with the youth, who are not only coming out to see it in large numbers but also loving the film.

Analysts feel that the film has brought good news for both Sonam and Imran, both of whom desperately needed a hit at this point of time.

Cinema hall owners say that going by the response the I hate Luv Storys has received with this grand opening, they plan to run it even for the second week.
