Prince is said to be doing good business at the box office.

Bollywood is pleasantly surprised with the news that at a time when the whole country is hooked to IPL cricket tournament and not many viewers coming out to watch Hindi films, Prince, the action thriller starring Vivek Oberoi is pulling good crowd to the theatres.

Prince is drawing huge crowds despite the fact that it does not have a well-known female lead in the film.

The good news for producer Ramesh Taurani and Vivek is that the film opened to good response and has picked up over the weekend. Though the film has only 45% collection, Prince is said to be drawing more audiences to the theatres than the other release of the week Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai, the film which had Ritesh Deshmukh and Jaqueline Fernandes in the lead role.

Reports suggest that Prince is drawing good crowd in Bihar, West Bengal and UP and the cinema owners in these regions are satisfied with the film’s collections.

Producer of Prince Ramesh Taurani while expressing his happiness over the good collection of the films said, "The response to Prince has been amazing. This can be understood by the fact that a certain multiplex was playing the film on only one of their properties and it has now increased it to four more theaters."

More than producer Ramesh Taurani, the favorable response to the film is good news for the lead actor of the film Vivek. Though the film has Sanjay Kapoor in a significant role, Prince is being seen as a solo success of Vivek and may go a long way in reviving his sinking career in Bollywood.
