Hindi film ‘Mehek’ in US university syllabus

Mahek is a film about a little girl who has big dreams. But very soon she realizes that the actual world is a lot more different than what she dreams about. Then one day she meets a “modern fairy” who tells her that Mehak would have to fight all her battles on her own if she wanted to realize her dreams.

Otterbein College (Ohio) will screen the Hindi movie as a part of the curriculum syllabus of its Integrative Studies Programme and the teaching of ‘Modern India’. It has bee written and directed by Pune-based Kranti Kanade. Read more.
