Kareena Kapoor has to Act like Good Indian Bahu?

An Indian would always be an Indian. Irrespective of where you grow up and what you do, if you are an Indian, at the end of the day, you have to follow the Indian customs and go by the book. The latest to learn this bitter reality are none other than Kareen Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan,- the hottest and the most talked of Bollywood couple of the moment.

According to reports, though Saif’s father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, may not have any objection to their love affair, when it comes to choosing a match for his son is concerned, he wants to have a final say. So, just to spend some time with their would-be Bahu and to know her better before they give a final nod to the Saif - Kareena relation, the Pataudi’s seem to have invited Kareena to spend some time with them at their native house in Haryana. The Pataudi’s would want to know Kareena better before the marriage so that Kareena – Saif relation doesn’t turn out to be the way Saif- Amrita Singh marriage turned out to be.

Though the precocious approach adopted by the Pataudi’s is quite understandable, one wonders how comfortable are Kareena and her mother Babita with all this?

As far as for the time being, Saif has been able to set all speculations to rest by saying that he has an excellent equation with Babita Mom, he should not take her for granted. After all, when Babita can ask for security from Bachchan’s, who are now considered the number one family of Bollywwod, for Abhishek-Karisma marriage (as per the rumors) , she can make any demand from the Partaudi’s. So if his mother-in-law has accepted him with no stings attached, Saif should thank his stars for that.

Its a test for Kareena also, as despite being at the top right now, she will have to act very well to prove to the Pataudi’s that she can be a sweet and simple Indian Bahu.

Well, hope things go well with this couple.

Rani Mukherjee making a come back in ‘Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic’

Rani Mukherjee has been absent from Bollywood for a long time and people don’t even remember what last film she did, perhaps after Black. But her fans can now rejoice as she makes a come back in Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic, paired with Saif Ali Khan, with whom she didn’t vibe well initially:

Earlier we didn’t get along that famously. We are not the best of friends. But, yes, after we did Hum Tum, we got to know each other and now when this film was offered to us, we were more than happy to act opposite each other. We have grown together as actors. We inspire each other.

Regarding her rare appearances in Bollywood films she says:

I would love to do four-five films a year, but I’m not happy with the scripts offered to me.
