Bollywood War!

Though you may be a king, the biggest people may be behind you but something may still make you feel ‘Yeh Dil Maange More.’ That seems be the case with the Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan these days.
Despite the fact that he has big banners like Karan Johar’s Dharma Production and Yash Chopra’s Yash Raj films in his kitty, there is a lot that SRK needs to think about. For, if his cold war with the Bachchan’s that became a bigger news in India than the cold was between U S A and U. S. S. R was not enough, he has now had a new enemy in form of Salman Khan.
But, among these rifts, one person who has gained the maximum is another Khan. Yes, you guessed it right, its Aamir Khan. Just as was the case with Shah Rukh, Aamir story also starts with the Bachchans. There was only one difference though. At a time when the distance between the Badshah and Shehanshah was increasing, Aamir along with his wife Kiran paid a courtesy visit to the Bachchans to congratulate them for their splendid performances in SARKAR RAJ. The Bachchans did not let this opportunity go by without retuning the favor by also praising Aamir for the wonderful work in his directorial debut ‘TAARE ZAMEEN PAR’. Aamir further scored a point by being a guest on Salman’s Television show Dus Ka Dum, while Shah Rukh refused to oblige Salman in this regard. And with the otherwise private and aloof Aamir attending a rare party at Salman’s house, the news spread that both Aamir and Salman have not only rediscovered their long lost friendship but were also planning a sequel of their 1994 hilarious comedy hit “Andaz Apna Apna”.
Well, coming back to Shah Rukh, worst didn’t end there only. While his problems with Bachchans and Salman have been talk of the town of late, his relations with Aamir haven’t been on the right track either. This considering the fact that Aamir wasn’t very amused about the remarks Shah Rukh made regarding his choice to attend only a few particular award functions. If one might say so, with the kind of remarks he has passed against Aamir and Amar Singh, rather than Aamir, its Shah Rukh who needs to avoid the award functions right now.
But, all said and done, Shah Rukh Khan is Shah Rukh Khan after all. He has eventually found a way out of it all. Shah Rukh has now expressed his desire to do a film with Aamir. He probably knows that the issue between him and Aamir was the least controversial and may be resolved most easily. And making that as a starting point, with the help of Aamir, he may also be able to resolve his differences with others also. Now, that’s a smart move Shah Rukh.

Aishwarya Rai’s role shortened in ‘Sarkar Raj’
May 26, 2008 No Comments »
The sources say that Ram Gopal Verma has cut short Aishwarya Rai’s role in Sarkar Raaj because it was distracting the audiences away from the main theme of the film. After the marriage — Abhishek’s and Aishwarya’s, of course — the entire family minus mummiji is making an appearance. According to this link Sarkar Raj
is an intense political drama and is essentially a study of power; it explores the politics of development, and takes a fresh look at the tradition versus modernity debate. Ash is reportedly playing the character of a businesswoman who influences Abhishek’s aspirations in the movie.
